Over the past 150 years, the Milton Ulladulla area has undergone many changes, growing from a small timber town and fishing port to a tourism hot-spot.

A look at historic images from across the region’s history shows just how much has changed.

The images also show how much is, surprisingly, still the same.

Buildings erected in the late 1800s still stand proudly in Milton’s CBD while Ulladulla’s buildings recall the business boom-time of the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Young people are the key to keeping Anzac Day alive.

Milton Ulladulla RSL president Paul Warren says engaging younger people in Anzac Day was the biggest, and most important, challenge faced by veterans associations.

While crowds have been growing at Anzac Day ceremonies across Australia, Mr Warren said it was essential to ensure that many of those gathered were families and children who understood the importance of the day. (more…)
